Swedish Warmbloods have generally great health and tractability. The past 700 to 800 years of culling and selection for good cavalry mounts has provided the genetics for good feet, good teeth, robust digestive systems, and healthy (but) slow skeletal development in the core of the breed. If temperament is inheritable, and many would argue that it is to some degree, then the SWB is very domesticated  – they bond with people, they pay attention, and they are usually highly trainable.  (Emily Robertson, 2007.)
